 AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION PROVIDER COURSES:

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support can be availed by all medical practitioners such as physicians, registered nurses and other healthcare professionals with a valid professional license seeking professional growth and dedicated to provide quality care through trainings.

BasicLife Support can also be taken by any healthcare providers. It can also be taken by high school graduates or undergraduate college students of any course who are capable of responding to patients experiencing cardiac arrest.

ACCREDITED PROGRAMS BY THE PROFESSIONAL REGULATIONS COMMISSION:

The programs offered with PRC Accreditation are for those individuals who have finished their 4-year health related course specifically in nursing. These are necessary for nurses to earn Continuing Professional Education (CPE) units as part of their requirements for licensure renewal; and more than that, it is the moral responsibility of nurses to update themselves and to enhance their skills so that the quality of care and safety are ensured to patients who will be receiving their services.

ACCREDITED PROGRAMS BY THE CALIFORNIA BOARD OF NURSING/UCLA CERTIFICATES:

The qualifications to avail the courses that are accredited by the California Board of Nursing are for registered nurses with a valid professional license and have passed the NCLEX examination. These are necessary for nurses to earn Continuing Education Units (CEU). This is one measure of the agencies that nurses are updated and equipped with knowledge and skills with the current standards of nursing practice.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN (with ongoing application for accreditation of TESDA:

Individuals who are at least two-year graduate of any course are qualified to take the EMT training. A graduate of health related course is an advantage but anyone who has passion for action and emergency care can avail this training. If one is a high school graduate, an extended period of time is allotted to ensure acquisition of knowledge and skills and even, a full grasp of the role of an EMT in the community.

OTHER PROGRAMS

All programs offered by HCAI can be taken by registered nurses, as well as, student nurses through partnership with their schools as part of their Related Learning Experience (RLE) or Competency Appraisal.
